What is Gobble?
Gobble is a Chrome extension that turns passive browsing into a triaged set of story candidates. It normalizes and clusters what you read into a daily digest so you can quickly decide what to cover, what to keep for later, and what to skip.
Is Gobble free?
Yes. Gobble is free for now. Some optional features require API keys that you provide (for example: Firecrawl for summaries, YouTube for certain For You sources).
What does BYO-key mean?
BYO-key means you bring your own API keys for optional integrations. If you add a Firecrawl key, Gobble can generate bullet summaries for clusters you mark as Cover. If you do not add keys, those integrations simply stay off.
What data does Gobble collect?
Gobble uses your browsing signals (like URLs and page titles) to build a digest. It stores derived digest artifacts (normalized URLs, titles, scores, and clusters) so they can sync across devices. You can delete your account to remove server-side data.
Can I export my digest?
Yes. Gobble can export story boards to Excalidraw so you can outline, edit, and collaborate outside the extension.
